PERTHSHIRE
02
On day 4, our first morning in Perthshire, we learned how Scottish people in the Iron Age lived and thrived on Loch Rannoch. The Scottish Crannog Center allowed us a hands-on experience of skills needed to survive and what day-to-day life consisted of.

The charming town of Dunkeld allowed us a peek into life on the bank of the River Tay. A local tour guide gave insight into the history of Jacobite uprising and the medieval history of the town.

The open evening gave us time for a relaxing walk to the Loch- just a couple minutes from the door of the hotel. While enjoying the beauty of Loch Rannoch and Schiehallion Mountain, a free-roaming, screaming goat provided a light-hearted reminder of why we travel- to live the lived experience!
